Because of this, I felt that traveling with other CNBC folks would be a great opportunity to make connections with others who can relate to being CNBC while communing over our shared love of travel and adventure.

In full transparency, as a host of the trips I offer, I may receive some compensation which could include discounts on my trip costs or a percentage of the earnings from participant's' trip fees.
